Transport Connections

Underground/Express Trains
The Apartment is within 10 minutes walk of two Underground stations, Farringdon tube station on the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmith & City Lines and the Angel tube station on the Northern Line.
Farringdon Station provides speedy connections to:-
Gatwick and Stanstead Airports via direct over ground express trains (maximum 1 hour journey door to door from Farringdon Station to the airports)
Luton Airport via over ground express trains connecting with the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmith & City lines eastbound from Farringdon to Liverpool Street Station (10 minutes from Farringdon Station to Liverpool Street Station)
Heathrow Airport via over ground express trains connecting with the Circle/Hammersmith & City lines westbound to Paddington Station (maximum 30 minutes from Farringdon Station to Paddington Station then 15 minutes to Heathrow on the Heathrow express)
Both Farringdon station and the Angel station also provide connections within 10/15 minutes of Kings Cross and St. Pancras International from where Eurostar trains depart to Paris and continental Europe.
Buses
There are a number of very useful bus routes within minutes of the apartment the highlights of which are:-
Rosebery Avenue - The number 19
This route provides a wonderful bus tour of central London travelling from Roseberry Avenue via High Holborn to Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road, Shaftsbury Avenue, Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Knightsbridge, Sloan Square, along the Kings Road to Worlds End then across Battersea Bridge, terminating on the south side of the River Thames in Battersea.
Rosebery Avenue - The number 38
This route provides a wonderful bus tour from Rosebery Avenue via High Holborn, through Covent Garden to Oxford Street, along Shaftsbury Avenue to Piccadilly Circus along Piccadilly to Green Park, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace terminating at Victoria Bus/Tube/Train Station from where the underground, trains, coaches and buses can be taken all over London, and to the North and South of England and continental Europe.
Clerkenwell Road - The number 55
This bus can be caught in Clerkenwell Road just off Clerkenwell Green and will take you west on a scenic semi historical route up to Oxford street through Covent Garden and the Inns of Court along Theobalds road dropping you near Oxford Circus and the West End..
St John’s Street - The Number 153
This route will take you east through the Barbican and Moorgate (one of the ancient gates into the old walled city), along London Wall, terminating at Liverpool Street station from where five minutes walk will bring you to the City, Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and Colombia Road Flower market (a London Sunday tradition), the Tower of London and Tower Hill.
